• Images on plain paper work best
• Images on dark paper or missing words will take longer to generate and engrave
• Wood is natural and may have blemishes. This cannot be avoided and all boards produced are considered one of a kind artwork.
• Upload photo before checking out
• Recipes with pictures will have an upcharge to produce and pictures will not be exact replicas. There is an option to add or ignore pictures in the recipe.
• Items take a minimum of 2 weeks to produce as boards are cut to order

• How do you transfer the handwriting to the cutting board?
  • We have graphic design software which will scan the handwriting from the paper to make a copy and convert that to a design that the engraver reads.
• Can you remove lines/spots/smudges from the paper?
  • Yes, we will automatically clean up the recipe and remove blemishes. Only the handwriting will be engraved. Any other notes or drawings will not be carried over.
• Do you send proofs before engraving?
  • Yes, at checkout, add a note to request a proof.
• Can you add additional words or drawings to the receipt?
  • We can add text, but it will not be in the handwriting provided. Text will be in a different font than the recipe. Additional text is limited to 5 words or less.
